Have you seen or used the Veggetti Spiralizer before??
It’s a great alternative to use to spiralize a variety of different vegetables to swap or supplement your pasta dishes or add in different types of texture into your meals.
The product itself is quite simple. It’s approximately 5 inches in height and 2 and 3 quarters inches wide. There’s two openings on each end, one to spiralize vegetables into thick strands and the other side into thinner strands. The metal handles helps you grip the product while you’re turning the vegetable.
The PROS:
- Compact size (which makes it easy to store, especially in smaller kitchen where storage is limited)
- Inexpensive — under $10.00 (relative to similar products in this category)
- Simple to use
The CONS:
- Blades are hard to clean (you’ll need a mini brush to get into the crevices of the blades)
- Limited on types and size of vegetables that will fit through the opening
Final Impression:
Overall, it’s a simple product that you can have in your kitchen. I’m a beginner cook, and this tool allows me to vary the textures in my meals up without having to commit to an expensive large appliance.
